Join the BIGS Society

Building, Investing and Generating Success.  It’s this belief that makes the members of the BIGS Society powerful proponents of progress and change in our communities.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is recognizing the professional efforts and community contributions of local leaders by inducting them as members of the inaugural “class” of the agency’s newly established BIGS Society.

Their experience begins on Friday, November 20 with their participation in a “Big for a Day” experience.  “Littles” from the Big Brothers Big Sisters’ program will join BIGS Society members at their workplace to learn more about them, their professional endeavors, and what potential the future holds for them.  The purpose of “Big for a Day” to open the minds of these “littles” to the potential that exists for them in the future.  It’s a day where “littles” are inspired and “BIGS” are introduced to the magic of mentoring.

Founding members will convene once more on Thursday, December 3rd for breakfast and a celebration of these community leaders.  There, members will receive their BIGS Society Award and have the opportunity to re-connect with their mentored youth, as we all celebrate the accomplishments of these distinguished leaders.

The founding class of the BIGS Society will share in an experience like none other—making lifelong connections with fellow inductees and contributing to brighter futures, better schools and stronger communities for all.
